The GOCREW.net concept is based on a community website and conncets Sailors and Regattas. Every member can easily communicate with other members, send emails without revealing own address and start his/her own blog. It features a 'Google' locator, direct messaging, photo and YouTube video posting. GOCREW emerged from the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta Crew Forum (and still is the official crew forum) and is linked to various Caribbean Regattas.
GOCREW.net facilitates the communication between crew, captains and boat owners well before the actual sailing event. Currently GOCREW.net features two forums per regatta: 'Looking for a boat or crew?', and 'Looking for accommodation or providing accommodation?'
GOCREW went online in 2008 and will we will further develop the system in the course of this year.
